Welcome to the fantastic world of 'Retro Ironic Science' by Steven Rhodes! Where we take a deep dive back to the days when our grandparents toasted radioactive drinks and gave the thumbs up to the atomic bomb as the latest neighborhood party trick. Here we stand, in front of a glorious (literally) tribute to the 'good old days' where science was as simple as a stirring rod in a test tube.
Our hero in the subject is a cheerful youngster whose enthusiasm for nuclear physics can only be measured by the amount of jelly in his perfectly combed hair. He's standing there, with an atomic bomb explosion behind him - which is probably his latest school project, and he definitely got an A for effort. 'SCIENCE!', he proclaims, as if he's just discovered the solution to all the world's problems, or at least how to get a really impressive barbecue going.
This is a perfect decor item for those who want to be reminded of a simpler time, when 'radiation' was just another word for 'extra shine' in the hair and safety measures were left to the comic book superheroes. Hang it on the wall, and remember: in Steven Rhodes' universe, it's always the brightest (and most ironic) of days!"
