Southwest is an old classic rain hat made of strong, elastic and waterproof polyester. In the past, the southwest was usually made of impregnated fabric, but today polyester is by far the most common material.
The rain cap not only protects the head and face from the rain but also prevents the water from entering the neck and collar.
