How should the sleeves fit?
The sleeve opening should allow the movement you want without cutting into your upper arm. Compare with a shirt you own, with your arms relaxed and reaching forward. A wider opening can give a looser look, while a narrower sleeve follows the arm more closely. Check the shoulder seam in the photographs as well.
Body length for an untucked shirt
Compare garment lengths taken from the same point. If your shirt is 72 cm long and the new one is 76 cm, mark roughly 4 cm below your current hem while trying it with trousers. This helps you judge coverage. A curved hem can have different lengths at the sides and centre.
Which fabric should I choose?
