Choose by measurements rather than only a 3XL, 4XL or 5XL label. The same size can have different chest widths and lengths across designs. Plus size concerns sizing; oversized describes a deliberately roomier cut and does not guarantee the measurements you need.
Lay a well-fitting jacket flat and measure across the chest according to the product guide. A garment measuring 78 cm across compared with your jacket’s 75 cm gives 3 cm extra flat width, roughly 6 cm around. This is a calculation example, not a measurement shared by all jackets.
A measurement around the outside does not automatically show usable space inside, especially with thick lining. Try it over your intended layers.
Choose lining for your use and leave room for a top underneath. Shorter ribbed designs and straighter field jackets can fit differently around the stomach and hips at the same chest width.
Compare men’s winter jackets for warmer constructions and men’s M65 jackets for field jackets with different linings and adjustable details. Check the specific design’s size.
No. Sizes vary by design and colour. Filter by your size first, then check measurements and the selectable variant on the product page. A size in a chart does not promise that it can be ordered.
You do not need the same cut for every occasion. Compare shorter and longer shapes and where pockets sit when fastened. Follow each design’s care instructions for the shell, lining and any removable parts.
