Choose an overshirt for an outer layer that opens at the front and keeps a shirt-like look. Wear it open to show the top underneath or buttoned for a more unified silhouette. The fit and fabric construction determine how it works in your outfit.
Regular fit
A straighter basic shape. Check chest room over your intended base layer; regular fit does not automatically mean a hoodie will fit underneath.
Relaxed fit
A looser silhouette. Compare the shoulders, sleeves and body length so the extra room sits where you want it.
Open or buttoned
Wearing it open shows the layers underneath. Buttoned, it should leave chest room without pulling at the placket. Assess both when choosing a size.
How do I choose an overshirt size?
Start with a shirt or shirt jacket that works over your chosen base layer. Lay it flat and compare chest width, length and sleeves with the product measurements, using the same method. Compare garment measurements with garment measurements, and body measurements with body measurements. When trying it on, fasten the buttons and reach forward: the shoulders and back should allow movement without straining the buttons.
T-shirt or hoodie underneath?
