Vegvisir necklace 925 sterling silver.
Long before the compass was invented, the Vikings sailed to Iceland, Greenland and Russia with their ships. Sailors used so-called "sunstones", transparent calcite stones, as navigational instruments. The amulet 'Viking Compass' consists of the Icelandic symbol 'Vegvísir' in the center with the runic alphabet around. In the past, it was believed that the magic wands of Vegvísir and the runes can help the bearer have a safe journey and find their way, even in harsh conditions.
