Ulv T-shirt.
The wolf was a very important symbol in Old Norse mythology. This is noticeable not least in Asatron's constant meetings with the wolves.
Allfather Odin had two faithful companions, the wolves Gere and Freke.
The Fenriswolf was a giant wolf that devoured Odin at the final battle of the gods, Ragnarök.
The wolf Garm eats Tyr, but manages to be impaled from the inside by Tyr's sword.
Here you can see an Old Norse-inspired wolf printed on the chest.
The original name in Sweden is ulv and varg is a so-called noa name. A name given to an animal to avoid calling it by its real name. Wolf was considered bad luck to utter.
Despite that, the name Ulv has given rise to common Swedish names such as Ulf and Ylva. The latter means she-wolf.
