Triquetra T-shirt.
Triquetra is a word formed from the Latin tri (three) and quetrus (corner). The symbol consists of three interlaced arcs that end in three points. The braided symbol symbolizes eternity.
The triquetra is believed to be a Celtic symbol, but which has spread both within asatron and Christianity. In Christianity, it is a symbol of the three-leaf clover and the trinity (the father, the son and the Holy Spirit).
However, the symbol has also been found on rune stones and Old Norse coins where it is believed that the symbol had a religious meaning for the Vikings. Its great similarities with the Valknut have led many to suggest that the Triquetra, like the Valknut, is a symbol of Odin.
