MA-2 bomber jacket with fur collar.
MA-2 is a pilot jacket that is a further development of the classic bomber jacket MA-1. The MA-2 jacket was designed for the US military in the 1950s.
The jacket is called MA-2 bomber jacket, MA-2 pilot jacket or CWU-45 pilot jacket where CWU stands for "Cold Weather Uniform".
What mainly distinguishes the MA-2 from its predecessor, the MA-1, is the folded-up collar, which in this version is covered in fur. Another thing that differs is that the MA-1 jacket has an orange lining and the MA-2 has the same color as the outer fabric.
We often see the MA-1 jacket as the classic bomber jacket, but if you are looking for both a stylish and practical bomber jacket, you will not be disappointed with this newer version - MA-2.
The jacket has large knitted cuffs in elastic fabric. MA-2 has the same thick and warm padding as MA-1 and therefore also the same round shape.
The jacket is equipped with a gold-colored robust zipper with a wind-protective flap at the back that protects against cold winds finding their way into the jacket and cooling your body.
The black collar is made of long soft faux fur and the fur can be removed.
The jacket has two side pockets, an arm pocket and an inner pocket.
